Jürgen altmann
Founder
Jürgen founded Shades of Love in 2009 after a trip to India sparked the idea for the project. Back in Munich, his Aroma Kaffeebar became the starting point for the first collection of sunglasses. As long-time traveller to the Himalayas, he has since built a strong network of local friends and partners across the region.
niklas huppmann
Co-Founder
Niklas joined at the age of 16 and is running the project for over 10 years, heading operations, strategy and partnerships. He launched our work in Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and South America.
Till Lojewsky
Partnerships & Logistics
Till has been part of several Shades of Love missions to the Himalayas and Pamirs, supporting international logistics, local partnerships and on-the-ground operations. He joined the management team in 2024.
Karl-heinz danner
Admin & PR
Karl-Heinz joined the Shades of Love management team in 2025, supporting the initiative with administration, communications and public relations.
SIMON GRUBE
Operations & Strategy
Simon has been part of Shades of Love for many years, joining several distribution trips and supporting the project with operations and strategic development. In 2017, he initiated our expansion into South America.
